Hyderabad: The Osmania University police on Friday arrested Sriram Narasimha Chary, a house burglar involved in 25 theft cases, and recovered gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 2 lakh from him.
According to the police, Chary, a resident of Chintal, targeted locked houses across Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda commissionerates, breaking in and stealing valuables.
His arrest marks a significant breakthrough in a series of house burglary cases reported in recent months.
