Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a traffic police constable working at the Yadagirigutta traffic police station in Yadadri-Bhongir district died after his motorcycle crashed into a truck from behind at Hayathnagar on the city outskirts on Friday.

The cop identified as Maan Singh, was proceeding from Hayathnagar towards Yadadri-Bhongir on his motorcycle, when the mishap occurred.

According to the police, when Maan Singh reached Hayathnagar, the driver of a truck which was also proceeding in the same direction, suddenly applied brakes.

“Due to the truck driver applying sudden brakes, the victim who was just behind the truck missed to notice it and crashed into the truck from behind,” police said.
