I have already inserted Kreiga fork seal covers & removed Saree guard.

Hey BHPians! I’ve purchased mine.

I thought it’d be nice to share initial impressions!

Current ODO – 500Km

Observations:

  1. Acceleration – It feels like this – Imagine you are tied to a rope. Rope is attached to some weight. You are made to run along with it. While you are running let’s say someone cuts the rope, you will feel a sudden jerk that you’re running faster. Same way, till 5K RPM, it feels like the Revs pick up gradually but once it crossed 5K, it shows the true power.
  2. Low End Torque – Thing is you shouldn’t assume – you should ask the machine if it has, by opening throttle gently and then most of the times it does give you and then you pick on it gradually.
  3. Modes – Street feels like the power is deliberately withheld from you till 4-5K, but what I observed is, from there the power increases exponentially – you will feel sudden jerk. Offroad is more linear and predictable. Rain seems good on slippery surfaces, I actually tried it once – it’s good.
  4. Vibrations – Elephant in the room! For my type, I am okay till 4.5K RPM. From 4.5K RPM to 5.5K RPM, I actually don’t like it as it makes your foot buzzy! Even on the handlebars. Once you cross it, it gradually settles down. I’m avoiding speeds 75 Kmph to 85 Kmph. Lower or higher than this range actually feels good and no complaints at all. There is one interesting thing I found – Offroad mode till 5-6K RPM feels less viby but actually more vibrations are felt at top end (100Kmph to 120Kmph feels viby!) On the other hand, Street mode till 6K RPM it feels very viby, but once you cross 6K RPM, it feels less viby than that of offroad mode. So I decided to use Offroad mode in City and Street mode on Highways. I could actually manage to circumvent bad feelings of vibrations by doing this – hence good ride. Usually riders may find this difficult to check and hence may reject right away.
  5. Stalling – Sometimes when you are in 1st or 2nd, you should open the throttle to significant extent to get a move otherwise the bike will stall. This is not related to low-end torque.
  6. Quickshifter and Cruise Control – These work like charm especially the downshifting and speed control. I set it at 115Kmph and no matter how wide I open the throttle it won’t cross it and it helps not to cross certain RPM.
  7. Exhaust – Uff! It’s a jackhammer. Some may like it.
  8. Headlight – It’s pointing way above the rider sight. Adjusted it down.
  9. Brakes and Tyres – Ultimate.
  10. Seat – I actually like it. 100Km journey felt like nothing.
  11. Suspension – It feels good. Most of the ruts, potholes etc are managed with ease. Although very slow speed may feel stiffer. Just increase speed and you’ll feel like you’re gliding. It’s nice! I increased compression damping and reduced rebound damping. Felt good.
  12. Traction Control – It won’t interrupt you much in offroad mode. But in street mode, it’ll interrupt in a good way.
  13. Have inserted Kreiga fork seal covers. Removed Saree guard. Applied some stickers. No other changes.
