A Mahindra Bolero travelling from Gandipet to LB Nagar overturned on the Outer Ring Road in Ghatkesar after a rear tyre burst, killing the driver and injuring a passenger. Ghatkesar police are investigating the tragic road accident

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, one person died and another was injured after the car they were travelling in went out of control, allegedly due to a rear tyre blowout, and crashed into a road median on the Outer Ring Road in Ghatkesar on Saturday.
The Mahindra Bolero was heading from Gandipet towards LB Nagar when the mishap occurred. Upon reaching Ghatkesar, the vehicle’s rear tyre reportedly burst, causing it to hit the median and overturn.
The driver, identified as Ravi Kumar from Odisha, sustained grievous bleeding injuries and died on the spot. Krishna, a passenger, was injured in the crash.
The injured individual was rushed to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.
On receiving the information, Ghatkesar police reached the spot and launched an investigation.
