Earlier in the day, a shocking video went viral on social media as it captured how the car that was used by Jagan on his recent trip to Sattenapalli mauled an elderly man named Singayya to death. This heartbreaking video shows the front wheel of this Toyota Fortuner car mauling Singayya.

Incidentally, Guntur SP had earlier communicated three days ago that one of the cars in Jagan’s convoy had been involved with the incident. However, with a shocking video that captured Jagan’s car ramming into Singayya surfacing on social media, the police have found concrete proof.

In this context, Guntur SP Satish Kumar briefed the Media a short while back as he officially communicated that YS Jagan has been named as one of the accused in this case now.

“Former chief minister Jagan was permitted to travel with 11+3 cars convoy from Tadepalli to Sattenapalli. But there were over 50 cars when he actually came out. Now we have concrete video evidence of the car used by the former chief minister ramming into Singayya who was later pronounced dead at the hospital. So we have file case against the driver and also the former CM.” The statement from the Guntur SP read.

After analyzing various video footages, CCTV footages, drone visuals, circumstantial witnesses about the incident, it was found that the deceased was seen under the wheels of Ex- CM vehicle and the sections were altered to 105 and 49 BNS, the statement read.

Apart from Jagan, other YCP leaders Perni Nani, Vidadala Rajini, and YV Subba Reddy who were also in the car during the time of the incident were added as the accused. Guntur police is communicated that further police investigation will happen, and the culprits will be prosecuted accordingly.
