The India Meteorological Department forecast warned of strong surface winds which are likely to prevail in all 33 districts of the State.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm warning to 11 Telangana districts for Monday (June 23).
According to the IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places in Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Rangareddy, Medchal Malkajgiri, Hyderabad and Nagarkurnool districts. The forecast also warned of strong surface winds which are likely to prevail in all 33 districts of the State.
Meanwhile, for Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, there will be partly cloudy sky for the next 24 hours. “Light rain to drizzle accompanied with gusty winds are likely to prevail in the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 35° Celsius and 24° Celsius respectively,” the forecast said.
