A man caused panic on a busy flyover in Hyderabad by riding a camel in an inebriated state. The incident occurred along the PV Narasimha Rao Expressway in Hyderabad and was shared on Instagram by Ikram Ullah Shah, who rescued both the man and the animal.
The now-viral video shows the camel racing along the flyover with the rider moving back and forth dangerously. As the animal reached close to the edge of the road, the man appeared to have no control over the camel.
However, Shah followed the animal in his car, repeatedly shouting at the man to stop and warning nearby drivers to clear the way for the camel. As the video continues, Shah throws water at the rider, who then slumps forward and appears to lose consciousness, while the camel continues to run frantically. Shah and another onlooker managed to slow the camel down and tied it to a nearby streetlight. But the man stayed on the camel in an unconscious state.
Sharing the video, Shah wrote, “A camel had climbed onto the PV Narasimha Rao flyover. While the public just stood by and watched, by Allah’s grace I stepped in and managed to stop it. It’s sad that people only watched like it was a show — but I’m grateful that Allah chose me to act when it mattered.”
