Hyderabad: The Cyberabad SOT along with the Dundigal police busted an interstate drug racket and arrested one person on charges of drug smuggling on Sunday. Officials seized over 120 kgs of marijuana and a car.
The arrested suspect cum transporter was working for Sagar, Devraj, Bajrang, Hanumanth and Rajkumar, all from Karnataka and currently absconding.
Following a tip-off, the special teams intercepted the car proceeding with drugs from Dundigal towards Patancheru through ORR service road. The suspect was held and the contraband was seized.
Efforts are on to nab the absconding suspects.
