The shooting of Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated sci-fi fantasy film, directed by Atlee, is currently underway in Mumbai. The production kicked off recently, and Allu Arjun is set to remain in the city for nearly three months to accommodate the extensive schedule.
A specially designed blue-mat set equipped with high-tech cameras, advanced gadgets, and cutting-edge visual effects infrastructure has been erected for the shoot.
Atlee is employing state-of-the-art technology, with a team of technicians flown in from Hollywood to oversee the process.
Deepika Padukone, who plays one of the female leads, also requested that the studio be based in Mumbai to make her participation more convenient. Taking all this into account, Atlee opted to base this lengthy schedule in India’s financial capital instead of Hyderabad.
Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, the film is touted to be the most expensive production in Indian cinema history, setting new benchmarks in scale and ambition.
The film is currently being referred to as #AA22xA6. It features Sai Abhyankkar as the music director. Mrunal Thakur is expected to join the cast.
