The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting, held on Tuesday under the leadership of CM Chandrababu Naidu, reportedly included a light moment before official discussions began. As per sources, the meeting saw a few ministers open up about their mental stress and sleeplessness due to their packed schedules and political pressure.
It is said that the meeting began with usual greetings and procedures, but one minister from North Andhra apparently yawned. CM Chandrababu reportedly noticed it and asked in a friendly tone if he was feeling sleepy. Before that minister could respond, another woman minister is believed to have said, “Sir, we haven’t been getting any sleep.”
Sources stated that CM Naidu then asked the reason behind their sleeplessness. A few ministers reportedly explained that the back-to-back meetings and work pressure had left them with no time to rest.
It was also reported that CM Naidu turned to Minister Nara Lokesh and asked about his condition. Lokesh was quoted saying that he too was feeling the pressure but was managing to get some sleep.
Chandrababu Naidu, according to insiders, responded to their concerns with a bit of advice. He reportedly suggested that they start doing yoga every day to calm their minds and help with sleep. He also reminded them not to carry stress and to stay confident knowing that they are doing good work.
The atmosphere reportedly lightened up after this brief conversation, and ministers were seen smiling before continuing with the main agenda of the cabinet meeting.
