It’s been an incredible start to the 2025 MLB season for Cal Raleigh. The 28-year-old Seattle Mariners catcher, now in his prime, entered the league out of Florida State and took some time to develop, but he’s now emerged as one of the best and most consistent power hitters in the game.
Raleigh crushed his league-leading 32nd home run last night in a dominant blowout win over the Minnesota Twins. It was his fifth home run in four games and marked the fourth straight game he’s gone deep.
After the game, MLB’s social media spotlighted Raleigh’s power surge with a bold graphic.

Raleigh is now hitting .278 with 32 home runs and 68 RBIs, leading the American League in both categories. In June alone, he’s hit 10 home runs and driven in 24 runs. He is four home runs ahead of Aaron Judge in the American League.
With the win, Seattle improved to 40-37 on the season. The Mariners sit in second place in the AL West, 4.5 games behind the Houston Astros.
Seattle will play three more in Minnesota before heading to Texas to face the Rangers over the weekend.
