Mahindra & Mahindra plans to expand its ICE and EV product portfolio along with updating its existing popular SUVs including Scorpio N, XUV700 and Bolero in 2026. While the Mahindra Scorpio N and XUV700 will receive midlife updates with some noticeable design changes and feature upgrades, the Bolero will enter in its next generation, underpinned by an all-new platform.
Triple Screen Setup & More!
A test mule of the new Mahindra XUV700 facelift was recently caught on camera wearing heavy camouflage. The spy images reveal that the updated model will feature a triple screen setup – one for the infotainment system, one for the instrument functionalities and one for the front passenger.
While the complete feature list of the updated XUV700 is yet to be revealed, Mahindra is likely to address the missing features from the current model. These might include an auto dimming IRVM, a digital key, rear ventilated seats, dedicated climate zone for second row passengers, a powered ottoman seat for the rear passengers, rear wireless charging pad, etc.

Bolder Design:
Most of the cosmetic changes will be made at the front end. The new Mahindra XUV700 facelift will feature the Thar Roxx-inspired circular LED projector headlamps, a newly-designed grille and revised front bumper. The SUV might also come with the newly-designed alloy wheels, while the tyre sizes are likely to remain unchanged.
Same Engine-Gearbox Combos:
No changes are expected under the hood. The new Mahindra XUV700 will continue to come with the same two engine options – a 2.0L turbo petrol and a 2.2L turbo diesel. The petrol motor churns out a maximum power of 197bhp and 380Nm of torque, while the diesel engine offers a maximum power of up to 182bhp and 450Nm of torque. Transmission choices will also remain unchanged – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The top diesel automatic variants will continue to come with the optional AWD system.
