Fans Are in Agreement After Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Incident During Blue Jays-Guardians originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
If Toronto Blue Jays fans had no idea who managed the Cleveland Guardians, then they certainly know Stephen Vogt’s name now.
Toronto fans ripped Vogt on X/Twitter during Thursday’s Blue Jays-Guardians game following the second-year skipper’s spat with John Schneider. Vogt yelled at the Blue Jays’ dugout after Toronto pitcher Kevin Gausman plunked Guardians third baseman José Ramírez.
That hit-by-pitch came shortly after Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. left with a right forearm. The team announced that initial x-rays came back negative for a fracture.

Ramirez left with a bruised right forearm, and x-rays were negative.
“Sorry pal,” read one comment, “if Vladdy gets hit twice in a series, one of your guys have to eat it and the Blue Jays will do it their way.”
“Maybe don’t throw at our star player in back to back games,” another X user wrote, adding, “Get your big ass back in your dugout bum.”
“Vladdy was hit yesterday and then hit again today!” a Jays fan noted. “Seems a little suspect.”
Although umpires didn’t eject Vogt, they did warn both benches.
“Stephen Vogt, grow up,” a poster commented. “It’s simple.”
Neither Vogt nor Schneider had addressed reporters as of publication.
