PJR Flyover
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the PJR Flyover in Hyderabad on Saturday, June 28.
The flyover serves as a crucial link between the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Kondapur via Janardhan Reddy (Shilpa Layout Phase 2).
Built under the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP), the six-lane, 1.2 km-long structure is expected to ease traffic congestion at Gachibowli Junction – one of the city’s busiest intersections.
Constructed at a cost of ₹182.72 crore, the PJR Flyover is the third level above two existing flyovers at the location, marking a significant step in Hyderabad’s multi-level traffic management.
It is expected to facilitate smoother travel from the IT corridor to the Financial District, and improve connectivity between Kondapur and Shamshabad Airport.
With this, 37 of the 42 SRDP projects have been completed. Work on the remaining projects – including railway overbridges at Falaknuma and Shastripuram – is being expedited.
The inauguration is also part of the Chief Minister’s broader “H City” initiative, aimed at transforming Hyderabad’s urban infrastructure. Under this plan, ₹7,032 crore has been allocated for 58 major projects, including new flyovers, underpasses, and road widening schemes – reflecting the government’s focus on building a modern, efficient transport network.
