Looks like the BJP has finally decided to select its Telangana state president. Though on many occasions it was said that BJP would announce its new president, nothing happened.
This time, the BJP seems to have set the date on July 1. The organisational polls of the saffron party are coming to an end and the party has decided to announce state presidents in both the Telugu states.

The notification for Telangana chief will be out on Sunday. On Monday, nominations will be taken. They can be withdrawn by evening on the same day. The election will be held on July 1. The party has made an official announcement to this effect.
The process will be the same in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh. Rajya Sabha member Paka Satyanarayana announced the same in Vijayawada.

Once the state chiefs are elected, BJP will initiate the process of electing the national president, a post presently held by JP Nadda.
