Hyderabad: The commemorative coin released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday in Delhi to mark the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Jain leader Acharya Vidyanand Maharaj, has been minted at the Hyderabad Mint in Charlapally.
Sources from the Hyderabad Mint confirmed that 12 commemorative coins, released by the Prime Minister, were minted and sent to Delhi last week. The commemorative coins of Jain leader Acharya Vidyanand Maharaj will be put on sale, but they are waiting for official confirmation from Delhi.
“The sale of these coins will be done at the counters of the Hyderabad Mint, Charlapally,” said the sources.
