
In shocking news, actor Shefali Jariwala, known for her iconic appearance in the music video Kaanta Laga and her stint on Bigg Boss 13, has passed away at the age of 42.

Reportedly, she suffered a cardiac arrest. Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, rushed her to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
Mumbai Police arrived at Shefali’s residence in Andheri late at night to begin their investigation. A forensic team was also present at the scene and conducted a thorough search of the house.

Although no official statement has been released regarding the circumstances of her death, the presence of police and forensic teams suggests the case is being treated as suspicious.
The news has come as a massive shock, especially to 90s kids, for whom Kaanta Laga was a core memory.

Shefali later appeared in Salman Khan’s Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and starred in the 2019 web series Baby Come Naa. She also participated in popular dance reality shows like Boogie Woogie and Nach Baliye.
She was part of the same season of Bigg Boss as the late Sidharth Shukla, raising concern among fans who have pointed out that both actors passed away due to heart attacks at a similar age.
Some social media users have even gone so far as to call Bigg Boss 13 “cursed” because of these tragic deaths.
