Compared to my old Himlayan 411, this bike feels extremely well planted on the road. Bike demands that it is ridden hard

Test Ride and Purchase Experience
I went on June 24 to see if I can get a test ride of the Bear 650. They had this bike on display. No test ride bike available. I told them I will ride it. If I like it will they sell me this bike.
They confirmed it was not booked for anyone and had arrived just 3 days back. In fact even the wheel was locked down. They unscrewed it and gave me a test ride. I paid the 10k advance after that. Paid remainder on the next day and took the bike home now.
First Impressions
The bike is solid. I love the switches. The feel is way better than my old Himalayan 411.
The engine pulls like a locomotive.
I need to cover the 500 kms for the first service as soon as possible.
RE Original Equipment:
- Oil Cooler Guard – Silver
- Large Engine Guards – Black
- Large Sumpguard (only) – Black
Order placed for
I have ridden just about 70 odd kilometers so far. The bike runs hot. In traffic you certainly feel it on your right knee.
It pulls like a locomotive engine in any gear.
Compared to my old Himlayan 411, this bike feels extremely well planted on the road. Bike demands that it is ridden hard.
I need to figure out a better way to carry my laptop etc. Backpack feels very uncomfortable on this bike.
The headlight seems adequate but aux lights will be important on the highway.
