Dil is one of the iconic films in Dil Raju’s career, and the name “Dil” came from that film, which was his first-ever Telugu film as a producer.
After a long gap, he is now ready with a new film, Thammudu, featuring Nithiin in the lead role. The film releases on July 4, 2025. In one of his interviews, Nithiin asked Dil Raju whether there is a chance to make Dil 2 in the future. The ace producer responded that he would make it only if Nithiin plays both father and son. Dil was directed by V. V. Vinayak and was a smash hit at the box office. It will be interesting to see if Dil Raju considers this idea in the near future.
