Dr. Nori Dattatreyudu appointed cancer care advisor to Telangana government

The Telangana government has appointed internationally acclaimed oncologist Dr. Nori Dattatreyudu as Advisor for Preventive, Curative, and Affordable Cancer Care. The appointment was formalised through a government order issued by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao on June 28. Dr. Nori, considered a global authority in brachytherapy and the use of radioactive seed implantation to treat cancer, brings decades of expertise to the role.

Earlier this year, in March, the Andhra Pradesh government had also appointed Dr. Nori as an advisor for cancer care.
