Michelin, a leading tyre technology company, launched its first tyres and services store in Vijayawada, in partnership with Sanghvi Car Shoppe on Monday.
The launch further strengthened Michelin’s retail presence in South India, following recent launches in Kochi and Bengaluru. Michelin has more than 15 touchpoints across cities of Bengaluru, Kochi and Vijayawada, according to a press release.
Spanning across 3,000-plus square feet, the Vijayawada store is located on the bustling M.G. Road and is equipped with State-of-the-art infrastructure and diagnostic tools to deliver a comprehensive range of services from precision tyre fitment and road force wheel balancing to advanced alignment systems.
The store was inaugurated by Prashant Sharma, national sales manager at Michelin India, along with the Sanghvi Car Shoppe team. Speaking on the inauguration, Shantanu Deshpande, Michelin India managing director said, “South India has been a crucial market for Michelin’s growth strategy, given its rapidly growing customer base”. He stated that the launch of the Michelin Tyres and Services store in Vijayawada marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion.
