Many people have expressed anger, questioning why a government account meant for public service is being used to promote a Bollywood movie.

Critics argue that the Chief Minister’s social media should inform citizens about governance, policies, and development not films.
Several social media users pointed out Aamir Khan’s past comments, where he called Narendra Modi a mass murderer long before any official findings.

They also accused Khan of mocking Hinduism through movies like PK and 3 Idiots, which they feel portrayed religious practices disrespectfully.
One user wrote they felt betrayed seeing a leader from the land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj supporting Aamir’s film, calling it a disappointment for those who once looked up to Devendra Fadnavis as a strong nationalist voice.
