Completed 1 year with my Punch EV a few days back. 40k kms odd done. Which is in line with what I do every year, give or take

Since the EV is here, Creta has shifted to becoming the city car and has run about 6k kms. It hit 200k kms a few months back. Coming to the EV, it is an amazing city car. I love its size, ride, handling, and zippy drive. The only issue is that for my kind of use, it needed about 100 km more range. I’m getting 220 to 90% on highways. I would need a 300 km to 90% car for a worry-free, calculation-free drive. Next car I buy changing the Creta. But I plan to keep the Punch as a city car well after the 200k kms is done, five years down the line. It’s perfect for the role.
Coming to niggles, Tata has long way to go in fit and finish. Panel gaps are wide, driver side door beading is already worn, and the radiator fan is noisy on the way out. My town doesn’t have a dedicated EV service, so I have managed only routine service maintenance, and all is good at that. Heart loves the small car that Tata made, and Brain agrees in unison on the huge savings being made! The Ride is Electric.
