The Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh (APEPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in Eluru mandal on Sunday (July 6) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
EPDCL Executive Engineer, Operations – Eluru, K.M. Ambedkar, in a release on Friday said that the interruption is necessary to carry out tree cutting and maintenance work on the 11 KV Powerpet feeder. As a result, power supply will be temporarily suspended in the following areas under the Powerpet feeder jurisdiction: Powerpet, Chittivalsa Pakalu, Vasantha Mahal, Karrala Vantena, Old Bus Stand, Goods Shed Road, Panduranga Puram and surrounding localities.
Consumers in these areas are kindly requested to make necessary arrangements and cooperate during the outage period, he added.
