A.P. Medical Council’s registration unit launched in Kurnool

In a relief to doctors in the district, the registration unit of the A.P. Medical Council began functioning in the Kurnool Medical College complex on Saturday (July 5).

Minister for Industries and Commerce T.G. Bharath launched the unit along with Adoni MLA P.V. Pardhasarathi. Mr Bharath said the government set up the unit for the doctors to renew their registrations or for any other services. Earlier, the doctors had to visit Vijayawada to do so. This used to cost the doctors a lot of time and money.

A.P. Medical Council chairman D. Srihari Rao said the re-registration and renewal would be facilitated at the district level on Saturday and Sunday.
