Mere days ahead of their announcement, full specifications of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watches have leaked. The company’s new smartwatch lineup includes the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. All three of them have a circle-on-squircle design.
Full specs of upcoming Galaxy Watches leak
Images of the Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and Watch Ultra 2 were leaked a few weeks ago. Now, their specifications have leaked, courtesy of Dealabs. All three devices use the 3nm Exynos W1000 chip paired with 2GB RAM. The Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic have 32GB storage, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is getting twice that at 64GB.

The new smartwatches will run Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch software out of the box. Samsung will likely offer four major Wear OS updates to these Galaxy Watches.
The Galaxy Watch 8 will be available in two sizes: 40mm and 44mm. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will be available in 46mm size, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra will retain its predecessor’s 47mm size.

The Galaxy Watch 8 has 1.34-inch and 1.47-inch screen variants, while the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has a 1.34-inch screen. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has a 1.47-inch screen as well. All three smartwatches can reach a peak screen brightness of 3,000 nits and have a 327ppi pixel density.


The Galaxy Watch 8 uses an aluminum case, while the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has a stainless steel case. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, just like its predecessor, has a titanium case. The screens on all three watches have sapphire glass protection.
The Galaxy Watch 8 has a Silicone Sports Bracelet (Small/Medium), whle the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has Premium Hybrid Strap (Small/Medium/Large). The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 comes with a Extreme Sport Bracelet (Small/Medium/Large).

Samsung has equipped all three upcoming Galaxy Watches with the same sensors for fitness, health, and workout tracking. They are listed below.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has the biggest battery (590mAh) and will likely last the longest among the three models. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has a 445mAh battery. The 40mm version of the Galaxy Watch 8 has a 325mAh battery, while its 44mm version is powered by a 435mAh battery. All of them will have magnetic wireless charging.
The Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will be available in Bluetooth-only and Bluetooth + Cellular (4G LTE) variants, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will only be sold in a Bluetooth + Cellular (4G LTE) avatar.
