Installed Bosch TPMS in my Skoda Kylaq

Installed Bosch TPMS in my Skoda Kylaq BHPian BSASLR recently shared this with other enthusiasts: BOSCH TPMSInstall with Tire Upgrade Along with upgrading to Michelin tires, installed the BOSCH TPMS to get real-time tire pressure monitoring – especially since I often hear suspension noise on roads cuts and edges and wanted peace of mind that tires are fine during highway drives. Initially, had planned to go with JK Treel, but due to time constraints in sourcing it, opted for Bosch. The cost was around 6K, and installation was free as it was done along with the tire replacement. Pros: Fairly accurate – usually within 0.5 to below 1 PSI margin, but mostly consistent.Works well with the Android Auto after the latest Bosch app update. Initially, it was not working. (Carplay not sure) Hope Bosch means quality and durability (4-5 years of life). Useful on long trips – no need to manually check each tire. Helps keep track of tire temperature and health, especially on concrete highways. Cons: JK Treel and Senairy are cheaper and come with 5 sensors, Bosch only 4 sensors included – stepney is not covered.Kylaq’s stepney’s air valve faces downward, so inflating it requires removing the tyre. A sensor here would’ve been helpful. That said, all 5 tyres came factory-filled to 45 PSI, so even if the spare is checked once in 6 months, it should be usable – I’ve made peace with that.
