Hell everyone.
Completed one month and 4500 kms in my Creta electric excellence LR.
My commute is around 120 daily and it’s a mix of 50% highways, 50 % single lane roads and city with heavy traffic. I never did hypermiling and drive the car like I drive a ICE vehicle.
On highways I use level 1 or 2 regen and I-Pedal mode in single lane roads and city drives.
Under mixed driving conditions, including congestion and very bad stretches of road I tackle daily, the car returned 7.8 km / kWh
In my observation. Creta EV will easily do above 8-9 km / Kwh in legal speed limits with ambient temperature below 30 degrees.
Driving it like ICE , i.e 100-110 on highways the car will do 7-8 km/kwh. and if you drive like a maniac it will return 6 km / kwh.
I do AC charge the car with portable adapter till 90 % regularly, even though the recommendation is to keep the charge between 20 – 80 %. That additional 10 % above 80 provides me with a buffer if don’t charge the car for two days with my regular running.
I looked around for other alternatives when going ahead with the purchase, but connected with this car and felt like it is an extremely well rounded product especially with all the kit available in Excellence variant.
