Bomb Threat To Hyderabad City Civil Court, Premises Being Searched | India News

The Hyderabad City Civil Court received a bomb threat via email at 3.15 am, which was noticed at 11 am. The premises of the court was being searched.

A bomb threat email was received at the Hyderabad City Civil Court in Telangana in the wee hours of Tuesday. A bomb disposal squad and other officials reached the spot as soon as the same was reported.

According to the details, the authorities at the court received the threat email at 3.15 am. The officials saw the email at 11 am and immediately informed the local police.

The premises of the court was being searched.

Nothing suspicious was thus far found on the premises.

Commenting on the incident, a police official told news agency ANI, “The Hyderabad city civil court received a bomb threat mail today in the early morning hours at 3.15 am. The officials saw it at 11 am and informed us.”

“The bomb squad and other officials are conducting a thorough search of the court premises. So far, nothing has been found. We will provide further details later,” he added.

On Monday, a bomb threat via email was received at Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj domestic airport, stating that explosives had been planted on the airport premises.

The email also mentioned that the airport could be blown up at any time.

On July 5, the Chhattisgarh Sampark Kranti Express, going from Delhi to Durg, was delayed by almost an hour after it was halted at Jhansi railway station following a bomb threat.

The threat later turned out to be a hoax.

After the train left Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station in Delhi around 6 pm on Friday, an unidentified person called the railway helpline 139 and claimed that a bomb had been planted in a sleeper coach of the train, the officials said.
