A short circuit sparked major fire in a furniture go-down opposite to a cancer hospital in Eluru’s Vangayagudem on Thursday morning, according to reports.
Thick blanket of smoke quickly covered the afternoon skies, creating panic among locals.
Reports stated that there are no casualties with officials confirming short circuit as the reason behind the accident.
Firefighters with four engines have reached the spot quickly and tried to bring the situation under control.
