BHPian abhi_tjet recently shared this with other enthusiasts: Monsoon update ‘Geminy ‘ – as referred by one of the locals is doing city duty with finesse and absolute disdain to shitty Pune road infra during monsoon. I have been stuck in traffic for couple of times despite checking maps before leaving and taking the trickiest of routes to avoid traffic and reach Hinjawadi – Ph3. The only saving grace is that I was in a Jimny whose TC gearbox is absolutely at home in these conditions, along with the suspension and its small size. I checked out a trail on the map this weekend and took the Jimny out for the first time this monsoon for some fun. And was it fun? Hell yeah! Beautiful roads once you split from NH48. We started after 12 pm and roads were surprisingly empty even for Sunday. Beautiful views everywhere! Visited this beautiful Shani Dev and Shiv temple which was near to the trail entrance A simple trail for Jimny, urban concrete is tougher This was my first time on this route, and I haven’t explored this even on bike. Stopped for a hazelnut cappuccino at our usual place near home and were back by 3:30 PM Sharing below clip from Jimny’s front and rear cam. I found the clarity to be quite ok. Video 1: Link Video 2: Link Jimny’s odometer has crossed 11600 kms and will be quite close to 12k during its first anniversary. I also have to get its wheel alignment done, which is on my to-do list. Thanks for reading, guys. Drive safely. Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
