Tata Punch.ev Empowered LR+: Quick review after a few days with the EV

Ceramic coated all the windows and black plastic cladding.

BHPian keroo1099 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

It’s been a few days since I got the car, which has given me a chance to go over it with a fine tooth comb and spot the good and bad surprises in finish and detailing.

Overall its been positive except for a couple of issues that should have been dealt with at execution stage

THE GOOD

The Led headlights/ fogs/cornering lights work well and the integration of the black plastic cladding with the painted surfaces are very good IMHO

Integration of the front/rear/side ORVM cameras are well done and don’t look stuck on

Nice detailing in the rear tail lamp assembly

Sufficient USB and 12V outlets. The wireless charging pad seems to be cooled?

Clearly labeled tyre pressure values. No idea why showrooms insist on overinflating tyre’s

I like the detailing around the air vents

Nicely finished interface between steering and instrument cluster

No messy wires under the dash

THE BAD

The owners manual sucks. Its written badly, has no indexing and the pictograms remind me of safety instructions on a flight in the 80’s.

The stitching and finishing on the upholstery is pretty poor

All the door bin’s have sharp edges

This is the only bad wiring detail I found on the passenger side to the center console

I got a pretty amazing (optimistic) 482km range on my first charge to 100%

Ceramic coated all the windows and black plastic cladding
