Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said that over 200 American companies across sectors such as IT, pharmaceuticals, defence, manufacturing, and aerospace, are already operating out of Hyderabad and there is a constant effort to deepen trade ties.

The CM unveiled Telangana’s ambitious vision to become a $1 trillion economy by 2035 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047. He sought the support of the United States in achieving this target, stating, “We believe Telangana can be a hub for innovation, technology, and investment with stronger U.S. collaboration.”

He recalled that the Telugu community in the U.S. has flourished, with thousands of students and professionals from Telangana pursuing their dreams. “Even Telugu language is rapidly growing in the U.S.,” he said, expressing pride in the cultural exchange between the two societies.

Mr. Reddy recalled that the foundations of the US-Telangana relationship were laid during the tenure of former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, under whose leadership the U.S. Consulate General was established in Hyderabad.

The CM appreciated the role of Consul General Jennifer Larson in serving as a “strong bridge” between the two regions.

Consul General Jennifer Larson said that Hyderabad exemplified the strength of the U.S.-India relationship through its innovation and collaboration. U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Jorgan Andrews remarked that the U.S.-India relationship was built on a foundation of shared democratic values, mutual respect, and a commitment to global progress.
