Nizamabad:Filling the nominated posts has brought cheers across the ruling Congress: both senior and youth leaders have secured positions in Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts. State-level corporation chairmanships and temple committee slots were also awarded to local leaders.
Congress MLAs P. Sudarshan Reddy, R. Bhupathi Reddy, M. Madanmohan Rao, and Thota Laxmikanth Rao played key roles in obtaining these posts for their followers. Additionally, several district leaders earned roles within the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC): Indrakaran Reddy and Gaddam Chandrasekhar Reddy from Kamareddy, and Rambhupal and G.V. Ramakrishna from Nizamabad.
Senior party figures Taher Bin Hamdan, Gadugu Gangadhar, Eravathri Anil, Manala Mohan Reddy, Kasula Balaraj, and others were appointed as state-level corporation chairpersons. Agriculture Market Committee chairmanships and various state-level directorships were also filled.
Other leaders are vying for nominated posts in the Nizamabad Urban, Nizamabad Rural, Armoor, Balkonda, Bodhan, Banswada, Jukkal, Yellareddy, and Kamareddy assembly constituencies. Notably, Banswada MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and former minister Mohammad Ali Shabbir received cabinet-rank advisor appointments.
