Student’s DIY e-bicycle draws praise and support from Pawan Kalyan | Vijayawada News


Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan extended warm congratulations to Rajapu Sidhu, an intermediate student from Vizianagaram district, for inventing a battery-powered bicycle at an impressively low cost.Sidhu, a native of Jadavari Kothavalasa village, created the electric bicycle to travel long distances to college. His innovation, which allows a travel range of up to 80 kilometers on a single three-hour charge, recently went viral on social media and captured the attention of the Deputy CM.Impressed by Sidhu’s creativity and commitment, Pawan Kalyan invited the student to his camp office in Mangalagiri. During their meeting, Sidhu demonstrated the bicycle by riding the vehicle he had built. The deputy chief minister was visibly impressed and praised the young inventor’s ingenuity.He also appreciated a digital service concept created by Sidhu called “Grocery Guru,” a WhatsApp-based assistance tool, and encouraged the student to keep exploring innovative ideas. To support and motivate Sidhu, Pawan Kalyan announced a financial incentive and assured him of government support to further develop his talent.Calling Sidhu a role model for youth, Pawan Kalyan said, “Innovative minds like his are the future of Andhra Pradesh. The government will continue to encourage such young talent in the field of science and technology.”
