Tesla is set to begin its retail operations in India with the inauguration of its first showroom on Jul 15. The American EV maker’s first dealership is located in Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The brand is also setting up another dealership in Delhi. While Tesla is yet to confirm its product line-up, the EV maker is likely to kick off its India innings with the launch of the Model Y. It is available in single and dual-motor versions globally. However, we might get the single-motor rear-wheel drive version only. Since Tesla hasn’t been keen on setting up a manufacturing unit in India, the Model Y is likely to arrive via the CBU route. It is expected to be imported from Shanghai, China. SourceET
