Viswanatha assumes charge as Kurnool Municipal Commissioner

P. Viswanatha took charge as the new Commissioner of Kurnool Municipal Corporation on Friday. Mr. Viswanatha, who was the Regional Director-cum-Appeallate Commissioner of Municipal Administration, Anantapur, replaced S. Ravindra Babu as the KMC Commissioner.

Speaking to media persons after taking charge, Mr. Viswanath said that focus would be on developing the city in all aspects and priority would be given to maintaining sanitation, extension of roads, supply of safe drinking water and reclaiming the encroached lands belonging to municipal parks. Additional Commissioner R.G.V. Krishna, Deputy Commissioner Satish Reddy and others were present on the occasion.
