A whopping 105 foundation stones will be laid on a single day across Nellore Rural constituency, thus breaking the ground for as many developmental projects.
The constituency had received developmental projects worth ₹191 crore. Apart from those works launched and currently in various stages of progress, such as roads, drains, flyovers etc., 105 more projects will be set in motion on March 9.
Addressing a media conference here on Monday, Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy said that the breath-taking exercise would be conducted from from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
“The local residents will be treated as VIPs and invited to lay the foundation stone, making it a truly ‘people’s agenda’. I will personally participate in 51 events and my brother and TDP leader Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy will participate in 54 events along with NDA leaders”, he said.
The progress of the works launched on that day would be thoroughly monitored to ensure their completion within two months. Former Mayor N. Bhanusree and TDP leader Shamsuddin took part in the media conference.
