Anirudh Ravichander hikes his fee again for Telugu films

Anirudh Ravichander is undoubtedly the top music composer in South Indian cinema today, and also one of the busiest, with multiple high-profile projects in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. In recent times, he has been signing more Telugu films, expanding his footprint in the industry.

After working on NTR’s “Devara”, Anirudh signed on for Vijay Deverakonda’s “Kingdom” and Nani’s “The Paradise”. For the latter, he reportedly charged a remuneration of Rs 12 crore, marking a Rs 2 crore increase from his previous fee.

Now, the latest buzz is that Anirudh is quoting Rs 15 crore for new Telugu projects. He is said to be assuring producers that his music rights alone can fetch that amount or more, given his immense popularity and the demand from top music labels.

While continuing to work on major Tamil films like “Jailer 2” and “Jana Nayagan”, and Bollywood projects like Shah Rukh Khan’s “King”, Anirudh is selectively accepting Telugu films—but at a premium price.

His rising demand clearly reflects his pan-India appeal and chartbuster track record.
