Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC And Telangana Jagruthi President K. Kavitha has complained Against Congress MLC Chintapandu Naveen Kumar Making Derogatory and Insulting Comments Against Her.

In her complaint lodged with the Council Chairman after calling him on, she said she was shocked by the comments made by Mr. Naveen Kumar, a member of the Council. She noted that Jagruthi had celebrated the State Cabinet decision to implement 42% reservation to Backward Classes in the local bodies by promulgating an ordinance.

Mr. Naveen Kumar insulted her with his comments while speaking at a meeting held at Jharasangam in Zaheerabad constituency. “If he could be so insulting and curt against a woman member of a law-making body, it was understandable how he could behave with women in the society,” she said. She requested the Council Chairman to refer her complaint to the Ethics Committee under Rule 262-C and Sub-Rule 1.

Speaking to newspersons later, she demanded suspension of Mr. Naveen Kumar from the Council for making insulting comments against a woman. She also requested the Chief Minister and Director General of Police as even women journalists were arrested in the past for making social media posts.

She also lodged a complaint with the DGP and requested registering a case against Mr. Naveen Kumar under Sections 74 and 79 of BNS for using obscene and offensive language with criminal interest to outrage the dignity of a woman (Kavitha).

Ms. Kavitha stated that Jagruthi activists had protested at Mr. Naveen Kumar’s office but his gunmen (personal security officers) had opened fire. She sought to know whether the Jagruthi activists were attacked at the behest of Mr. Naveen Kumar or the State government. She also demanded action against the gunmen.
