Vijayawada: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu will meet several Union ministers, including home minister Amit Shah and finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman, during his two-day visit to New Delhi. The chief minister will depart from Gannavaram airport on Tuesday morning and reach New Delhi around noon. He is scheduled to meet home minister Shah at 1 pm and discuss various issues, including resolution of bifurcation issues. At 2.30 pm, Naidu is scheduled to meet NITI Aayog member VK Saraswat. Later, the chief minister will hold a meeting with Delhi Metro MD at his residence to discuss the proposed metro rail projects in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada.Naidu will deliver a speech at a memorial event for former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao at Murti Marg at 3.30 pm. In the evening, he is likely to meet Union IT and railways minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and seek additional support in execution of railway projects in the state. On Wednesday, the CM will meet Union minister for labour and employment, Mansukh L Mandaviya, and press for early completion of projects granted to Andhra Pradesh, including ESI hospitals and medical college.Later in the afternoon, he will meet Union Jal Shakti minister CR Patil at Jal Shakti Bhavan and request his support to get clearances for the proposed Polavaram-Banakacherla project. Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy is also likely to attend the meeting to discuss the ongoing water dispute between the two Telugu state. Naidu will meet Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman at 4.30 pm. After staying overnight in Delhi, he will return to Amaravati on Thursday.
