Naga Vamsi, the renowned active producer of Telugu Cinema, has been confident about his upcoming biggie, Kingdom. Vijay Deverakonda, Bhagyashri Borse are starring in this tale of a spy leading an uprising in an island. Gowtam Tinnanuri is directing this film after his highly appreciated Jersey.
In a media interaction, Naga Vamsi expressed his fear about negativity surrounding Vijay Deverakonda. He stated that there are unanimous trolls and high amount of negativity surrounding Vijay and they have to work hard to push the film beyond all these trolls and negativity.
His tone appeared concerned about Vijay’s recent duds and even more about the negative comments, trolls surrounding Vijay in social media. While he is stating that the film will work well with the audiences, at the same time, he is making such statements. Several onlookers are commenting that he is unable to hide his fear.
It is common for producers to feel nervous about their investment when a big film is releasing. But with a great track record of hits in recent times, a producer like Naga Vamsi making such a statement about Vijay’s credibility and his negative image among audiences, is giving opportunity to several onlookers to spread even more negativity about the film.
While we cannot be sure about film’s quality prior to the release, producers and directors do have an understanding about the product in hand. Reports suggest that Kingdom did undergo several reshoots and these kind of remarks could be a strategy to cover up any misses and throw blame on negative image of the actor?
He seems to be worried that Kingdom will be affected by this negative image and maybe this could be his way of asking people to be kind. Well, let’s hope the movie releasing on 31st July will answer to every question and let it just be a random comment made by Naga Vamsi and not something profound.
