NIZAMABAD: The mortal remains of Prof. Prabhanjan Yadav, 62, were handed over to the Government Medical College in Jangaon for research purposes on Wednesday.
Prof. Yadav, a noted Telangana activist, intellectual, and social philosopher, passed away in Hyderabad following health complications. A native of Gudur village in Jangaon district, he served with All India Radio and the National Planning Commission before becoming an assistant professor at Telangana University. He later resigned from his government position to join the movement for statehood, passionately advocating for the rights and advancement of marginalised communities.
Leaders and citizens across diverse backgrounds, including representatives of the BC community, expressed profound sorrow at his passing and extended their heartfelt condolences to his family.
