As Salman Khan aims for a possible comeback with his upcoming war-based film Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, a new and exciting possibility has arisen on the occasion.
During a recent interview, Salman Khan opened up regarding the release date of the film and mentioned how the film might be released in January of 2026.

January will also be hosting Sunny Deol’s Border 2, which is supposed to be a huge blockbuster by the looks of it, including a star-studded cast.
Having a clash with Salman Khan’s Battle of Galwan will undoubtedly damage the overall projected box office collection of Border 2.

With both films showcasing patriotism and releasing around Republic Day, both have huge potential to become blockbusters.
As for Border 2, a music video shoot was recently held for the film featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty and Sunny Deol.

On the other hand, Salman Khan recently opened up about the shooting for Battle of Galwan will take place over 20 days in Ladakh.
He further added that a significant portion, for 7 days, will involve challenging underwater action sequences.
The renowned actor also emphasized that he is undergoing rigorous training to prepare for the extreme cold and ensure the action can be filmed successfully.
With so much at stake, it will be a mega clash at the box office in 2026 if both these films are released in January. While Border 2 is scheduled to release on January 23, it remains to be seen when Battle of Galwan will be released.
