Tee Higgins’ Mom Turns Heads With Aggressive NFL Criticism After Recent Update originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins recently signed a four-year, $115 million extension to remain with the team through the 2028 season.
Higgins is coming off one of his best seasons in the NFL, appearing in 12 games with nine starts, racking up 73 receptions, 911 yards and 10 touchdowns (career-high) on 109 targets.
Now, Higgins is at the center of some more exciting news this offseason. On Tuesday, the NFL announced that Higgins has made the No. 77 on its Top 100 Players of 2025 list, which is voted on by players.
However, his mom, Camilla Stewart, disagreed with the list, saying “[expletive] @NFL y’all really put him at 77 He’s so much higher than that #opinionsarelike[expletive]#THFF.”
The NFL’s post caught the attention of many social media users, who agreed with Higgins’ mom’s opinion.
“There are not 76 better players than Tee Higgins,” said one comment.
“These rankings are awful. They had Burrow like 39th last year lol. Don’t sweat it Momma Tee, we know he’s a g,” said another.
“If he played for any other team he’d be higher. They keep the narrative for Bengals players,” a third added.
A fourth stated, “They’re haters, simple as that. Can’t have 4 Bengals players in the top 10-15. We’re too “poverty” for that lol.”
“I don’t want to here no more tee Higgins slander the rest of the year,” a fifth continued.
“If he would’ve went to a different team and not stayed here they would’ve put him at like 25,” said another.
Of course, Higgins now has the opportunity to prove why he deserves a better spot next year as he looks to help the Bengals reach the playoffs, which they haven’t done since 2022.
