Hyderabad: The Uttaradi Mutt seer, Sri Satyatma Tirtha Sripadulu, will begin his Chaturmasya Deeksha here on Saturday. The religious observance will take place at the Uttaradi Mutt located in Lingampally, Kachiguda, and will continue till September 7.
To mark the beginning of the Deeksha, a grand Purah Pravesham (ceremonial entry) has been planned. A colourful procession will start from Shyam Mandir, Kachiguda, at 5 pm on Saturday, to the Uttaradi Mutt.
Thousands of devotees, bhajan groups, and youth are expected to participate in the procession, a statement said.
