With this, the family members immediately shifted him to a private hospital in Kakinada and admitted him.

Earlier, the family members decided to shift him to Hyderabad for better treatment. Doctors advised them to take him to Hyderabad Yashoda Hospital.
But as the condition turned critical due to alarmingly low sugar levels, Mudragada was rushed to Kakinada Medicover Hospital as per the advice of local doctors.

The family members say he is stable.
Daughter Kranthi Visited Mudragada Padmanabham, who is in the Hospital, and asked doctors for details.

Mudragada’s daughter, Barlapudi Kranthi, has been having disagreements with her father for the past few days.
In the wake of Mudragada’s health condition, her daughter Kranthi has come to Kakinada to see her father.
However, when the hospital staff sent Kranthi to the room where Padmanabham was, her son Mudragada Giri became serious with the hospital staff. He instructed that no one should be sent to Mudragada without his permission.
Mudragada joined the YSR Congress before the elections. He harbors intense hate towards Chandrababu Naidu and also could not take the fact that the Kapu community rallied with Pawan Kalyan, ignoring his leadership.
Before the elections, he would sit in his office daily and bash Pawan Kalyan in every interview. Whenever his services are required, I-PAC used to send mikes of their favorable media.
He challenged to defeat Pawan Kalyan and bring YS Jagan to power again. If not, he said he would change his name.
After the elections, he changed his name to Mudragada Padmanabha Reddy.
He could not take the insult, and also could not digest the fact that his own daughter revolted against him.
All these took toll on his health.
