Sreeleela played the female lead opposite debutant Kireeti Reddy in “Junior,” which was released simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu on July 18. What’s grabbing attention are Kireeti’s impressive dance skills and the viral song “Viral Vayyari.”
The song features Kireeti Reddy and Sreeleela performing high-energy, mass-style dance steps.
Sreeleela’s dance performance, in particular, has drawn mixed reactions due to her bold skin show and exaggerated gestures. Clips from the song have gone viral on social media, especially sequences showing Kireeti sensuously touching her during the choreography.
Some online trolls have alleged that Sreeleela went overboard in the song in return for a hefty paycheck. However, others argue that it’s simply performance art, pointing out that even in the 1990s, actresses took on far more provocative dance steps to entertain audiences.

Sreeleela has also faced criticism for her limited presence in the film—she only appears in one song during the second half, raising questions about the significance of her role.
However, she must break free from her “dancing star” image and start choosing roles that offer her more scope for performance. The actor-turned-doctor will next be seen opposite Ravi Teja in “Mass Jathara,” which is scheduled for release on August 27.
