Uorfi Javed got her laugh lines and lip fillers dissolved after 9 years. The reality TV star, who has had lip fillers since she was 18, recently shared an unfiltered video of herself undergoing the painful process of getting her fillers dissolved. Her face was left swollen after the removal procedure, and she warned fans to watch the video at their own risk. In her post, Uorfi explaind that her fillers had become ‘misplaced’ and that she plans to get them done again in a few days, but in a more subtle, natural way.
In the video, the doctor is seen injecting her lips while Uorfi shuts her eyes, clearly in pain. She then reveals her visibly swollen face and lips. “Please watch this video at your own risk. So mere jo fillers the, kaafi misplaced the. (My fillers were quite misplaced). So I decided to get my laugh lines and lip fillers dissolved. Main 2-3 hafte baad araam se ache se naturally karwaungi. (After 2–3 weeks, I’ll get them done again—properly and naturally). It was so painful. My lips immediately swelled up, my face swelled up. Main khud dekh ke hass rahi thi. End tak aate aate heri bohot buri haalat ho gayi thi. (I was literally laughing at myself looking like that. By the end of it, my condition had become really bad),” said Uorfi, in the video.
In her caption, she added, “No this is not a filter , I decided to get my fillers dissolved as they were every misplaced . I will get them again but naturally . I’m not saying no to fillers at all .Dissolving is painful .Also it’s very very important you go to a. Good doctor for fillers , all these doctors with fancy clinics know nothing . Finally I found @dr.rickson , trust me he’s the best #notsponsored.” In her Instagram stories, Uorfi wrote, “Removing my lip fillers, I can’t believe I’ve had them since I was 18, never seen myself without these pouty lips. I will get them again in a week tho but this time more subtle.”
Reacting to Uorfi’s post, one netizen commented, “It takes a lot of courage to show all this,’ while another one wrote, “U are beautiful anyways but still you want all these fillers , whyyy urfi why Tum sundar ho already.” A third comment read, “People need to understand ki whatever she’s doing is her choice. And honestly, it takes a lot of courage to post this online. She’s literally sharing her experience and the least y’all could do is be a little empathetic.”
Uorfi Javed has always been open about undergoing cosmetic procedures and often shares her journey with fans. She recently won the reality show The Traitors alongside Nikita Luther, and the duo took home prize money of Rs. 70 lakh.
