The Harrier EV.

Once I accepted the invite to test drive this car, I stopped reading all about it.
My idea was to keep my interaction with the car completely unclouded from the experiences of others.

My daily drive is a Hyundai Verna Turbo DCT. This car is no slouch in the performance department and it was going to be my main comparison against the Harrier EV.

Visually the EV looks like its ICE siblings. Just a small ring on some of its panels to show off its EV nature.

The car was able to effortlessly cross all these manicured challenges. But every single one of them made me smile at the ease with which it crossed them.

I especially loved the one where the car had its two wheels way up on a sand hill. The almost 40+ degree angle was like a nice traction chiropractic session for my tired back. The boost mode helped a lot in pulling the car over the inclines. The 540 degree camera makes it easy to maintain the wheel lines.

On the higwhay, it pulls really well. Its faster than my Verna in the run to a 100. You hardly realize when it crossed into triple digit speeds. The ride quality is excellent and the enhanced suspension setup is most welcome.

This is a proper AWD car for taking you into an adventure till the next EV charger.

My biggest complaint with the Harrier is to do with its interior setup. My knee hits the center console, the driver seat does not go back as much as I want it to. If the driver seat is kept forward, my head almost touches the roof. The biggest negative though is the limited luggage space in the rear but there is space in the front to compensate for it.
